Do I need to connect pins RTS and DTR on the DS9097U-E25?
The DS9097U-E25# does not require the RTS and DTR connections if power is supplied by the external power jack. The DS9097U uses the RTS and DTR pins to power internal circuitry and is required for the DS9097U-009# and DS9097U-S09# versions because it does not contain the external power jack port.
