Some questions for function of the low three bits of DS26502 16h register:
1> Q: Bit0: the Bit0 will be sent to 0 if DS26502 not synchronized the receive data stream, what’s “receive data stream” refer to? The receive data come from which pin of DS26502?
A: "Received data stream" refers to the receiving signal, RTIP and RRING pin are used for receiving
2> Q: Bit1: we let DS26502 work at E1 mode, bit1 will be set to 1 if it detected 255 consecutive zero. What kind of signal “consecutive 255 zero” refer to?
A:"Consecutive 255 zeros" means continuous 255 zeros, It indicates the Signal is lost (E1 mode).
3> Q: Bit2: please explain what’s mean of “unframed all-ones code”? What kind of signal it refer to?
A: "Unframed all-ones" means the signal with all-ones. It indicates that some disruption presents in the communication path.
4> Q: The RTIP and RRING pin of DS26502 no signal input when we use it, what’s effect for 16h register bit2,bit1,bit0?
A:It is a Read only register. When there is no receive signal, then Bit0(RLOF)=1, Bit1(RLOS)=1, Bit2(RAIS=0)
5> Q:When RTIP and RRING pin no signal input or not use the two pins, is it possible bit2,bit1 and bit0 value are all zero? What’s condition it will caused the bit2/bit1 and bit0 value are all zero?
A: These bits(bit0,bit1,bit2) will be zero, in default condition only
