Yes, the MAX98090 GUI is able to identify the version of the IC present and communicate with it accordingly. So the GUI can program both the A and B versions of the IC, which correspond to different I2C slave addresses. On the following screenshot you can see at the bottom of the window the GUI identifies the MAX98090B version and the slave address (0x22).
