If the load applied at startup causes a short, OVLO or UVLO condition the device does not retry. The device cannot startup under a short as the output needs to be charged by the startup timeout period.
If the output is not charged to (VIN - VFA) level during this time, the device turns off and IN, EN, or HVEN must be toggled to resume normal operation. This timeout period is also applied when there is a restart after a turn-off event caused by UVLO or OVLO.
