Question
I am using a hsc adc evaluation board(HSC ADC EVALCZ FIFO 0501B).
my question is how can I change the logic level of SPI signals(SDI,SDO ,SCLK),I
just want to use it is 1.8V or 3.3V.
At my board there is a jumper setting J9 that refers to the I/O voltage level.
the datasheet is attached page number:5
in the datasheet it is a 6 pin connector with 3 voltage levels 1.8,2.5 and 3.3
but in my board it is a 4 pin connector with 2 voltage levels,2.5 and 3.3V
Answer
The on board SPI interface is 3.3V and you can not change it to other voltage.I
just check my EVALCZ board, it is same as yours, the J9 has 2.5V and 3.3V
selection, without 1.8V selection. That is different from the user guide. I
will contact our product line engineer to update it.
However, the J9 is used to select the FPGA voltage level (J2 J3), it can not
select the SPI voltage level(J1).
