- All IO-Link vendors license their IO-Link stack from one of three different vendors (TMG, TEConcept, IQ2)
- MAXREFDES145# uses TEConcept stack. If the customer copies Maxim’s design they still need to license the stack from TEConcept for their own product.
- We do NOT license stacks or provide source code.
- It is possible to use the regular API from the software vendor to interface the stack through SPI. You can disconnect the USB to SPI-bridge by removing the 0 Ohm resistors, but this is not regular use-case. R72 to R75 can be removed so that the stack can be accessed through J3 See below:
