What is the difference between the MAX32625PICO board and the MAX32660 Debugger?
The MAX32660 Debugger is only available via the MAX32660-EVKIT# and cannot be ordered separately. By looking at the back of the PCB, you can tell which board you have. The MAX32660 Debugger has a large sticker label on the back of the board clearly saying MAX32660 Debugger. The MAX32660 Debugger is intended to ONLY be used with the MAX32660 EV Kit board. The custom firmware in the MAX32660 Debugger reconfigures one of the pins in the ribbon cable to power the MAX32660 EV Kit board with 3.3V. THIS MAKES THE RIBBON CABLE PINOUT NON-STANDARD. DO NOT use the MAX32660 Debugger board to connect to your own PCBs. The MAX32660 Debugger is configured out-of-the-box for 3.3V operation. Instructions are available to convert it to 1.8V operation. Alternatively, a standard MAX32625PICO board can be obtained and used for 3.3V or 1.8V operation (along with an additional wire connecting the two boards).
