What is the difference between the MAX32625 and MAX32626 EV Kits?
There are two major differences between the MAX32625 EV Kit (MAX32625-EVKIT#) and the MAX32626 EV Kit (MAX32626-EVKIT#). The differences are the target microcontroller and a socket. The MAX32625 EV Kit comes with a MAX32625 device soldered to the PCB. The MAX32626 EV Kit comes with a MAX32626 device in a socket. The device is not soldered to the PCB. This allows the user to program and test more than one device. This is a valuable feature for the secure version of the microcontroller since the programing and testing of encryption keys and security functionality typically require more than one device to be used. The MAX32626 EV Kit can also be used to evaluate and program the MAX32625 (or MAX32625L), although samples of the MAX32625 (or MAX32625L) would have to be procured separately.
