Product Number: ADXL380
By default the chip runs on an internal 512 kHz internal oscillator with 0,5% tolerance. But it can be fed by an external clock for precision or synchronization purposes.
There is no spec in the datasheet how precise such a clock needs to be and what is affected if the clock is not exactly 512 kHz (performance mode).
In my application the µC is running on a 16 MHz quartz and it is almost impossible to generate 512 kHz.
How would the IC perform at 500kHz? Are there systematic errors introduced which can be corrected?
