Recommended approach to gathering reliability data, especially for parts not found in the online tool

Category: Hardware
Product Number: DS28E18

Hi,

I was looking for tool like TI have (www.ti.com/.../estimator.tsp). This page (https://www.analog.com/en/about-adi/quality-reliability/reliability-data/wafer-fabrication-data.html) is for 'generic data that reflects the overall reliability of the Wafer Fabrication Technology'.

Many parts simply return no hits. For example, DS28E18, formerly a Maxim part. What is this 'like' for the purposes of the search tool I wonder.

AD state "Please note: Where a device of interest is not sampled, it is valid to use the reliability data of the particular process technology to which the part belongs" - but how does generic approach this tie in with things like gate count?

For the example device, DS28E18, what is the recommended approach to gathering reliability data? Ultimately, we have a tool (ITEM Toolkit) into which we need to feed part data for MIL-217 reliability analysis. I'll admit I am at the thin end of the learning wedge when it comes to this topic.

PS. Other AD parts in the design I am working with include DS2482-100, DS9503.

Regards

Stephen
