Whether shutdown pin is pulled up internally? What is the pull up resistor value and pull up voltage ?
Hi,
Yes it is pulled up internally. The pull up resistor value is around 100 ohms. Can you tell the reason why you are interested to know the pull up resistor value etc?
In datasheet , shutdown pin characteristic mentioned as Iol = -100uA @ VCC=2.5A. using this data pull up resistor is calculated as 25kohm.if the pull up resistor is 100ohm, then 25mA will flow at shutdown pin. What is the internal pull up voltage for shutdown pin?
Hi,
Sorry for the confusion. There are still other components such as transistor, diode etc pulling up from the 100 ohms. I might not be able to disclose more information regarding the schematic since it is confidential but when shutdown pin is activated like connected to 0V or shorted to ground, the current in the branch of 100ohms is 100uA which is what the datasheet specified. You need to consider that 100uA during shutdown.
Thank you... Please give me information that what will be the value of slew rate dispersion?
Hi,
Slew rate dispersion and overdrive dispersion are interchangeable terms or in general termed as propagation delay dispersion. This is explained in page 11 of the datasheet. The device dispersion is < 2ns or typically 1.2ns in the spec table as the overdrive varies from 10mV to 125mV.
Thank you.... Could you please share the weak pull up resistor at output pin during shutdown mode as mentioned in below link

Please refer to this thread for output pin during shutdown discussion.
Whether negative voltage -0.2V has to be given to shutdown pin for guaranteed shutdown?
What will the state between 0.6v to 2v ?
Hi,
is it possible to leave the pin Sdn floating?
Thanks
Yes because it has internal pull-up resistor.
Note that you have to pull up the Shutdown pin to the OUTPUT supply despite the figure on the first page of the data sheet. We have a +5 input supply and a 3.3v output supply. When we pulled the Shutdown supply to the input supply, the output went to 4.0v, which did not work well with our processor.
Hi stevenhunter ,
I agree with you. In the Specs table, the shutdown pin Vih max is Vcco
Hence, it is recommended that you pull the shutdown pin up to the Output supply only. Thank you.
