MAT14 Cebo spefification

Hi All,

I received question mail from my customer as next.

The data sheet of MAT14 says that Cebo: 40pF typ at Vcb=15V, Ie=0, and f=1MHz.

My understanding of the Cebo is base-emitter capacitance at collector is open.

If my understanding is correct, why you state that Vcb=15V?

Mat04 says that Cebo: 40pF typ at Vbe=0V, Ic=0, f=1MHz, this seems reasonable condition.

Could you explain why Vcb=15V condition for the Cebo is stated?

Another question is the bulk resistance specification.

MAT14 rbe=0.4 ohm typ at 10uA<=Ic<=10mA.

For the MAT04, rbe=0.4ohm typ at 10uA<=Ic<=1mA

What is the main reason for this difference?

Best Regards,

Ricky

  • Hi Rikichi,

    There are possible typos in the electrical table.

    Cebo: Test condition should read Vbe = 0V like you mentioned.

    MAT14 should also share the same test conditions as MAT04 (10uA<=Ic<=1mA).

    Our product engineer would look into this to confirm. We will get back to you after verifying the test conditions.

    Thank you.
