They are evaluation kits for MAX30101 and MAX30102 respectively. MAX30101 is very similar to MAX30102 with pin-to-pin and register compatibility. The main difference is that there are 3 LEDs in the MAX30101: red, green, and IR; while there are only 2 LEDs in the MAX30102: red and IR. Green LED is mainly for heart rate measurement for wrist. The PPG signal using green LED on wrist has higher signal to noise ratio and is more susceptible to motion artifacts.
