About the OUT1 of ADN8834

Thread Summary

The user inquires about the configuration of the ADN8834 when Chopper 1 is not used. The final answer advises shorting IN1N to OUT1 and connecting IN1P to GND to configure Chopper 1 as a buffer. No additional critical clarifications from accompanying answers are noted.

Hi All,

Our users are designing circuits using the ADN8834.

They do not using THERMISTOR AMPLIFIER (CHOPPER 1).
In this case data sheet has been described as follows.
  - If Chopper 1 is left unused, tie IN1N and IN1P to AGND.

In this case, how should the OUT1 pin be set?

If you have a question, please let me know.

Best Regards,
Hiro

Thread Notes

  • Hi Hiro,

Thanks for reaching us out here. Apologies for the delay in the response.

If the chopper amplifier 1 is unused, you may configure it as a buffer then ground the input.

This can be done by shorting the IN1N pin to OUT1 pin then connect the IN1P pin to GND.

    Regards,

    Noel
