ADPD4100 sensor sampling frequency

Hello Analog Devices Team,

I have read the datasheet for ADPD4100 sensor and came to a conclusion that Clock and Time-slot configurations are responsible for the sensor sampling rate. I want to have a sample code for ADPD4100 sensor to understand how the necessary settings/configurations integrated for reading ECG+PPG combined 1000 sps data in 1 ms.

A quick response would be very much appreciated.

  • I have read the responses but did not understand properly. I intend to use the entire timeslot without using any offset in between any of the timeslots as follows:

    TS_A: Turn ON Red led

    TS_B: Read RED led data

    TS_C: Sleep

    TS_D: Turn ON Green led

    TS_E: Read Green led data

    TS_F: Sleep

    TS_G: Turn ON IR

    TS_H: Read IR data

    TS_I: Sleep

    TS_J: Turn ON ECG

    TS_K: Read ECG data

    TS_L: Sleep.... continue looping

    Like this, I want to use the entire timeslot to read each 1 sample of ECG+PPG data in every 1 ms to achieve 1000 sps.

    I need a formula / configuration for registers and LED to achieve the same. I am a beginner in this and need guidance.
