We are wondering if we can replace the illumination source (the VCSEL) with our own visible laser source (~500nm).
Specifically, we are thinking about breaking out the modulating signal, and routing it to drive a custom laser driver (~500nm). Or can we use an external modulation signal to drive my own laser and trigger the sensor?
