ADPD2211: Shunt Resistor Rs to set the Transimpedance Gain

Hello!

I would like to know how to configure the shunt resistor Rs to set the transimpedance gain.

Thank you all.

  • Hello

    a direct conversion of uA current out of ADPD2211 will happen in this case through Rs.

    --> Iout*Rs.

    If you have 60uA output and a Rs=20kOhm means ~1.2V.

    Please note that the general limitations of such simple circuitry is you should not go above full scale current I_fs (240uA typ).
    And Output voltage you can get up to is typically Vcc-1.2V.
    All these are mentioned in datasheet or in Elec Specs table.

    Another important point is your layout and parasitics will also play a role in AC response.
