I am using a small stepper motor (SY20STH30-0604A) to spin a worm drive, and it worked great. But now I am trying to use the cool step functionality because I am having heat issues. I have the TMC5240 eval kit, and I am looking at the SG result value, which drives cool step, and I see that the SG result does not vary much if I apply a heavier load and only drops around 10 units until the load gets too heavy and it stalls. I was wondering if there is any way to blow up the resolution of the SG result? Like instead of varying 10 units I could make it vary 100?
