When connecting to TMC4671-TMC6100-BOB the Landungsbruecke error LED lights up

I was able to solve the problem.

Here are the steps I took that differed from the instructions (TMC4671_TMC6100-BOB_Setup_Guide.pdf, https://www.analog.com/media/en/evaluation-documentation/evaluation-design-files/tmc4671-tmc6100-bob-firmware-guide.zip):
- The LandungsbrueckeV3 does not require special firmware for the evaluation board. The current standard version (3.11.4, https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/TMC-EvalSystem/releases) works.
- The driver board must be set to TMC6100-BOB and not TMC6100-EVAL.

In order for SPI communication with the TMC6100 to work, it was not sufficient for me to apply 3.3V and 5.0V (VCC_IO: 3.3V to 5V IO supply voltage for all digital pins). VM (24V in my case) also had to be applied. I read in another forum that this is also the case with other boards and Trinamic chips. A note about this in the datasheet would have saved me a lot of time, or did I overlook it?

However, the error LED still lights up as soon as I select the motion controller board or the driver board and stays lit.

The driver may come up with error condition, as it has seen undervoltage on some of the supplies during power up. It should be solved once you clear the error flags.

Yes, power supply has to be on for our ICs to work correctly. :-)
