I am using multiple TM2209 drivers in my design. I would like to set up the driver to enable the "break" behavior during Idle.
My questions:
1. Can the driver be able to enable the break if the axis has current torque, or current load applies? For example if my Z axis has 2lbs of load on all the time, can my driver is able to "break" by just setting correct IHOLD?
2. Is there any App Note showing how-to enable the "break" feature? I tried to set the IHOLD value to different value, but I won't be able to make my motor holding.
