I am looking at incorporating the MAX78000 AI processor into a new design and intend on using boundary scan for testing in both a development and production environment. Is it possible to access boundary scan registers in this device? If so, how?
In addition to the above, if the part is not boundary scan compatible, when the device is held in reset will all of the external pins be held as 'High impedance' so I can at least test other devices on the nets?
I can see that the Global Control Register bit 0 is a boundary scan tap enable bit. Would there be any occasions when a user would be able to access this in some way to allow board testing with this feature?
