sigma studio+ didn't have SPDIF input for adau1466 at version 2.3.0

Thread Summary

The user cannot find the SPDIF input port in Sigma Studio. The solution is to route the SPDIF signal through the ASRC input block, as SPDIF channels appear at the respective ASRC input channels. The support engineer provided a sample project configured at 48kHz, using ASRC0 for SPDIF input. The latest version of Sigma Studio (2.4.0) is recommended.

Thread Notes

  • Hello Nicole YU,

The SPDIF doesn't have a direct input block in the tree, because SPDIF input must go thru the ASRC, so the SPDIF channels will appear at the respective ASRC input channels. ASRC input block is available.

This attached project will help you understand the flow. I have configured this project at 48kHz.

I have configured ASRC0 to receive the SPDIF signal, hence ASRC channel 0-1 is used. Each ASRC is a stereo ASRC.

I also recommend you use the latest version SS+ 2.4.0.
