How can I configure the max32664C to wake up via RTC and not the MAX86141 interrupt to gather data?

Category: Software
Product Number: MAX32664C, MAX32664
Software Version: 30.13.31

Hello,

I am looking to reduce prototype costs for using the max86141 and the max32664c together by getting rid of the need for a 150um/300um via-in-pad for the BGA. Theoretically it is possible to use the max32664c in polling mode (or use the RTC as a fallback when it doesn't get an interrupt), but there is no documentation on how this would happen and also no documentation for how the RTC fallback specified in this FAQ to gather the data.

How would this be achieved, or how does the RTC fallback work? Can the max32664c technically not operate without the max86141 interrupt pin (I am aware that it is not recommended)?

Thank you,

Benjamin
