I hope you're doing well.
I am currently working on a project involving the AD5941 chip and I need some clarification on how to calculate the capacitor series resistance using the AD5941 chip.
According to the datasheet, the DFTREAL register corresponds to the RALE value. However, based on my experimental observations, it does not seem that DFTREAL directly represents the capacitor series resistance value. I would appreciate it if you could explain the correct formula or method to convert the DFTREAL register value to the series resistance of the capacitor.
Hardware settings:
The measurement was performed using the following pins:
- RE and SE on one side.
- CE on the other side.
Software settings:
For the programming part, I am using the Impedance.c library which can be found here:
RCAL: 200.7Ω
RTIA: 5k
SweepStart = 100kHz
SweepStop = 100kHz
