ADICUP3029 No autobaud response

Category: Software
Product Number: ADuCM3029

Hello,

I have an EVAL-ADICUP3029 and I am trying to use the CrossCore Serial Programmer to erase, but I get a "No autobaud response" error.

I was following these instructions: https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/eval-adicup3029/tools/ccsfp_unlock_adicup3029

  • S2 UART switch is set to USB
  • Power switch is set to USB
  • I press and hold "S3 boot", then press and release "S1 Reset", then hit start in the CrossCore Serial Programmer

The board is fresh out of the box. Windows drivers install normally and the Daplink drive shows up if this is relevant.

Here are my CrossCore Serial Programmer settings, is there anything I'm doing wrong?

Edit Notes

Corrected the button sequence, but the result is identical.

  • I've the same problem as JensL. I have the mbed serial driver installed. Can you help me?

  • Hi again

Here is an update and summary. So far I have tried:

    • Windows 10 Pro with the automatically installed driver (driver version 10.0.19041.3636)
    • Windows 10 Pro with the Windows 7 driver 16466, this is the last releasted mBed driver for manual installation
    • Windows 7 Pro VM with the Windows 7 driver 16466

All of the above result in the same "No autobaud response" error. Please mind that there is no mBed Windows 10 driver except for the automatically installed one.

I'm looking forward to any lead to solve this issue.

  • Hi JensL,

I tried to run the blink_example in Debug mode using the CrossCore Embedded Studio. I still didn't resolve the issue because I had to deal with some other errors. It seems that the aducm3029 MCU is not working at all.

Maybe, you can also try to program it using CrossCore. It might works for you.
