What is the chip security level/evaluation (e.g. Common Criteria EAL 4+)?

Thread Summary

The user inquired about the security evaluation level (e.g., Common Criteria EAL 4+) of a chip, suggesting it should be highlighted in the data sheet. The final answer stated that the product is covered under an NDA and support must be sought through the Customer Interaction Center (CIC) rather than the public forum. The user clarified that their company has an NDA with Analog Devices and that mentioning the security level in the data sheet would not disclose sensitive information.

Dear Sirs,

Need to know the chip security level/evaluation (e.g. Common Criteria EAL 4+).

As a suggestion: would be great to highlight in your chip Data sheet.

Thank you in advance for your help.

  • My company, ddm hopt + schuler, already signed an NDA with you (Maxim); besides the information I'm asking for nothing got to do with "sensible information" furthermore it is something I considere, this is my opinion, should be in your data sheet, even in the abridget form. I mean, to mention in your data sheet the chip fulfills common criteria EAL 4+ (as an example) is not leaking any security relevant information at all.

Thank you in advance for your help,

    Josep
