AN-798 Appendix C shows sample code (about 10 lines) of how to redirect the output of the PWM to a different pin. We have tried this with limited success. The PWM output goes to the new pin but stays active on the original pin as well. We do not understand the behind the scenes coding. Can you, who are close to this, help us get a lot smarter? Thanks!

Hi,
The sample code is using the Programmable Logic Array (PLA) feature of the device. This feature can be used to route pins to a different pin.
The ADUC7021 doesn't have the PWM pin exposed, so the PLA feature is used to route the PWN signal to other pin.

Karl
Hello Karl,
Thank you for your response! Unfortunately, it is about a year late. We have leaned how to access the PWM and have used it successfully. Merry Christmas and thanks again!
Kind regards,
