ADuC7129 I2C

The I2C block on the ADuC7129 is the same as on the ADuC702x (note that ADuC7023 is not part of the ADuC702x family), so AN-895 does apply to the ADuC7129.

Yes the information regarding number of bytes being between 0 and 7 is valid for the ADuC7129.

In case my previous statement wasn't clear, the ADuC7129 uses the same I2C block as the ADuC702x family of devices so AN-895 can be used for the ADuC7129.

I had to find out if your request is possible.

Basically it is doable, but the workaround is pretty complex.

Have a look at the AN-895 companion code in particular at the I2C_Master7020.c file at the I2CWritePacket function and the handler function.
