Q
I have a question about a latch-up resistance of the ADuC812BS analog
inputs. Particulary how is the latch-up current of analog inputs?
A
The ADuC812 is not particularly susceptible to latch up but it can be
permanently damaged by an overvoltage condition. The ADuC812 uses standard
Schottky diodes on all inputs to clamp the inputs to within 0.3V of the power
supply rail and protect from overvoltage conditions. Theses Protection Schottky
can take approximately 10mA safely. You should limit the maximum current
through these diodes to the minimum value possible.
