ADuC847 freezing

Hi Henrique,

Is the device freezing limited to only a few devices or all of the device you're using are freezing after a certain period? How long before it freezes?

After the hard reset, does the device freeze immediately or after a certain period?

If there's a problem with the power supply, we can try using the power supply monitor, to check if the supply is going below the recommended operating level.

Every device freezes, but it depends on where it is. I believe it's a power supply issue, but on the AC power suppply so the power supply monitor doesn't catches this effect. It can also be regarding the ground.

Are you able to check the operating temperature of the device?

There's a similar issue where ADUC845 stops operating when temperature reaches beyond the specified operating temperature (–40°C to +125°C).

Yes, but the device temperature were normal. 

You mentioned that the WDT doesn't solve it a 100%, does this mean the issue occurs less with the WDT?

Actually no, the CPU still freezes but the WDT resets it. Still, it doesn't seem to comeback on a normal state.

Were you able to identify what's causing the issue?

Can you share your code for ADuC847? I'm thinking if there's something in the software that's causing the device to freeze or lock up.

Unfortunatelly i still couldn't identify the cause of the issue. 

Sure, i can send you the code, but can i do it via email? Also, i'm using the SDCC compiler.
