AduC845 channels

Hi,

The ADuC845 has only two ADCs block that can handle the Analog to Digital conversion. This is the Primary and Auxiliary ADC block.

You cannot use the AIN1 to AIN8 simultaneously since they are passing through the MUX towards the ADC block. I think you can try to read data at most two channels at a time.

Okay that means I can read only one channel at a time, if using only primary ADC.

In Primary ADC channel selection register ( ADC0CON2 ), if i assign ch1, ch2,ch3,ch4  as 1,1,1,1, then it will configure AINCOM-AINCOM as input channels. But how is it possible?? Or is it for other use??

The data sheet shows that you can configure the input channel as AINCOM-AINCOM, but I will have to get back to you if this has a specific purpose.

Yes, if i configure input channel as AINCOM-AINCOM , then where do i need to put my input?

If you configure the input channel as AINCOM-AINCOM, you will be using the same pin as differential input to the ADC block.
