Hi, recently I received an ADuC831 from my college to work with as a summer project, I've been trying to use the Aspire IDE and Metalink 8051 Cross Assembler that came with the install disk, however, whenever I try to compile Aspire returns a fatal error saying that the assembler only works with the Emulator POD and that the assembler in unlicensed, I did not receive an Emulator POD nor do I wish to get one, could anyone help me out?
