Can't Connect w/IIO Oscilloscope - Many Similar Issues Reported

Thread Summary

The user is experiencing issues with the CN0552 application on the ADICUP3029 board, despite successful UART communication and occasional ASSERT.TXT errors. The final answer confirms that the CN0552 (AD7746) does not support buffer-capable channels with a microcontroller, which is why the IIO Oscilloscope capture window does not work. Accompanying answers note that a replacement board displays different behavior, suggesting potential manufacturing issues with some boards.

Hello All,

I made a post here:

https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/no-OS/issues/3147

With the Mbed announcement the obvious concern is for how much longer will these products be supported.

I've read in this forum several posts that are fundamentally the same as what I've posted on github and they

solve the issue by replacing the ADICUP3029.

I've connected a Segger JLink to P14 in SWD mode and have looked at memory - the CN0552 app is being downloaded -
but I'm never seeing anything back from the board even though all is OK most of the time - i have seen ASSERT.TXT
a few times but I've been able to clear that.

Is there a way to confirm the IIOD server is running properly?  Since the UART TX/RX is working - I'm not sure why the CN0552 app isn't.

TIA,
johnw
