Implementation of ADRV9002 No-OS drivers on an unsupported carrier (Versal)

Thread Summary

The user is trying to implement ADRV9002 No-OS drivers on a custom Versal SoM. The final answer suggests using a reference project for guidance and notes that modifications to the Xilinx platform drivers may be necessary. The user also inquired about building the drivers using Vitis unified IDE 2025.1, but this is not recommended due to the differences in the Versal programming process.

Hi,

We are trying to implement the ADRV9002 No-OS drivers on a custom Versal based system on module by referring to ADRV9002 No-OS System Level Design Setup [Analog Devices Wiki]. In the documenatation, it is mentioned the supported carriers are ZCU102, ZC706 and Zed Board.

We have built the HDL design for our Versal SoM based on ADRV9001/ADRV9002 HDL Reference Design [Analog Devices Wiki], and we are using the xsa from this design for our No-OS build

I would like to know what changes need to be made to the No-OS code to make the drivers work with an unsupported carrier such as ours.

Thanks in advance
