How to change the baud rate in no-OS IIO?

Hi @Siddo,

Search for UART_BAUDRATE in your project files and replace it with your desired baudrate.

zedboard is known to have problems with anything higher than 115200.

Hi, I did change the BAUD_RATE from 921600 to 115200 but then the tinyIIOD server doesn't start it throws up an error. I tried many different BAUD_RATE values but it seems everytime on the serial display it shows :

tinyIIOD server failed to start. -12.

The -12 seems to be some sort of error code but I don't know what that means.

I can't understand the where is the dependency of tinyIIOD server on baudrate. I tried reducing the buffer size of the IIOD buffer as defined in tinyIIOD but that doesn't help either.

-12 is for -ENOMEM, basically some memory allocation didn't succeed, try increasing the HEAP

The tinyIIOD dependency on baudrate is a very basic one, the source code of iio_app uses the UART_BAUDRATE macro which is typically defined in application code (parameters.h)

I am sorry for replying so late. What exactly do you mean when you say to increase HEAP. I tried increasing the IIOD_BUFFER_SIZE but I get the same error

HEAP is the memory region defined by your compiler's linker script that is used for dynamic memory allocations.
