Mmm, I don't really see how this helps me.

 - I'm not using linux on the zynq, so I can't use the linux driver / device-tree to configure the ad9545

 - I'm not trying to generate SFP clocks at all, I basically want to generate a 30.72 MHz clock on OUT0A to feed the HMC7044.

I found the ACE software and the AD9545 eval board module for it an I'm trying to create a CSO for it that would mimic the configuration from https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/linux/blob/master/arch/arm64/boot/dts/xilinx/zynqmp-adrv9009-zu11eg-reva-adrv2crr-fmc-reva.dts#L325  which AFAIU is what's needed to achieve what I'm looking for. But there is plenty of parameters in that device tree where I can't find any equivalent in the ACE wizard.

So, I managed to extracts bits of the linux driver to make it work outside the kernel.

It's not exactly super clean, but it seems to at least configure the chip properly, I see it swtich between profile 0 & 1 depending if I apply the 10 MHz reference or not and I do get 30.72 MHz at the output.

Having an official proper AD9545 no-OS driver would be pretty good though.
