How to source DAC data from the external DDR with adrv9009 reference design?

You can see the ADRV9009 block diagram at https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/adrv9009/reference_hdl

The bit you mention will change the source of the data from the DDS to https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/hdl/blob/hdl_2019_r1/library/jesd204/ad_ip_jesd204_tpl_dac/ad_ip_jesd204_tpl_dac.v#L55.  In our reference design, we are using a DMA to source the data, but you can create your own IP.

For the ADRV9009 project in 2019_r1 release, the transport layer is implemented per direction, so the DAC side is implemented using: https://wiki.analog.com/resources/fpga/peripherals/jesd204/jesd204_tpl_dac

Is this 'axi_adrv9009_tx_dma' the DMA?

Which ip is this 'ad_ip_jesd204_tpl_dac.v' represent?Am i supposed to know this?If it is something obviously . Apologize ,I am very new about zynq design.

If you use the design as it is, you don't need to go into the details of the HDL.

I haven't worked with the latest versions of the No-OS, but I suppose in order to send data from the DMA in the basic reference design, you only need to uncomment the following line:

Thanks ..What you suggest is the same as what buha says. i have try to uncomment the L54 of app_config.h.

but i get errors to build it.if i comment the L54 ,sdk builds fine.

I found this link in the Zone No-Os drivers DAC_DMA Example build problem  have a solution to fix the errors..
