Q:
Do you have any ideas for simple gyroscope calibration?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A:
Yes, but let's start with they basic rule that "you will receive value in proportion to the value you invest." In other words, getting the most performance out of a particular MEMS gyroscope will likely involve developing a higher level of expertise than is presented in this discussion, but we do understand that there is value in "what can I get, with little or no investment?" With that in mind, start with the following articles, which offer essentially the same information, but with minor differences. They describe a calibration process that leverages a simple observation of "displacement angle," while rotating the gyroscope over a known angle. I will keep thinking about this and post any other references that I can think of.

I hope that helps!
