Evaluating the ADXL362

Q

What are the options for evaluating the ADXL362?

A

Several options are available.
•A complete, GUI-based system (EVAL-ADXL362Z-MLP) is available for viewing
real-time data and familiarizing oneself with the behavior and functionality of
the accelerometer. This system requires connection to a PC.
•A standalone, battery-operated datalogger (EVAL-ADXL362Z-DB) is available for
collecting
data in situations where connection to a PC is prohibitive. Data is stored on a
microSD card
for post-processing.
•The same datalogger (EVAL-ADXL362Z-DB) also provides a programmable demo
platform for
the ADXL362 that uses a low-power Renesas microcontroller and an EInk
electronic paper display. A few examples such as tilt sensing and a pedometer
are provided.
•For integration into existing systems, a breakout board is provided.
•For integration into a board design, layout files (CAM and GERBER) are
provided on the
breakout board webpage.
