I have looked through questions on the forum and the terms "scale factor" and "sensitivity" seem to be used interchangeably.
After reading a question on the forum (ADIS16260 initial tolerance), I understand there is a sensitivity specification. The sensitivity specification then has a tolerance. The tolerance is also known as scale factor.
So what confuses me is the ADXL345 datasheet, where there is:
a sensitivity spec,
a sensitivity deviation from ideal spec (tolerance/scale factor),
and a scale factor spec.
Any clarification would be much appreciated.
I didn't write this datasheet, but it looks like scale factor = 1/sensitivity in this datasheet.
That clarifies it. Many thanks!
