What does "Not recommended for new designs" mean?

Our only intent was awareness of risk, as we have observed elevated long-term risk, but are not concerned enough to initiate obsolescence processes. Our market demands that we do everything we can to avoid this. Even when we do have to take products off of the market, we typically offer pretty long period of time for placing and receiving last-time buys. Thanks again for posting!
