ADXL001-filtering capacitor and frequency response

Here is ADXL001 datasheet quotation:

"The output is shown connected to a 1000 pF output capacitor for improved EMI performance"

1)Does this capacitor change frequency response?

Is there any information about

capacitor value - frequency response - EMI?

2)

Is it safe for ADXL001 to send to its SelfTest input signal with frequencies in range 10kHz...35kHz to test frequency response change with and without filtering capacitor?

Are there any obstacles, determined by ADXL001, for such experiment?

    I don't know, which cable is equivalent to the cables which I use

    One cable has screen (shield) and 3 wires in teflon insulation 0.07mm2 each.

    Another cable has two screens with twisted pair in each screen

    Wires in twisted pair are 0.12mm2 in teflon insulation

    I can't say about cable length - it was 10m for ADXL335, now it will be 3...5 m for ADXL001

    May be later longer cables will be required
