ADIS16204 Code Examples

Nypop offered the following, in another post:

I was wondering if there was any source code or sample code that was available for the ADIS16204 (only edit by NevadaMark). We are using a chipKIT Max32 microprocessor and we are experiencing some difficulty trying to program that xy axis accelerometer when we thought this would be an easy job. Please Help!

    Hello Nypop,

    Hopefully, with a little help, this will go back to easy. Here is one code example (see attachment), that was developed using the ADUC7026 processor. Although this was the ADIS16407, this post offers the most common implementation issues that we see in connecting to SPI interfaces, such as the one used by the ADIS16204.

    Note that the PROD_ID register contents (address = 0x56) will be equal to 0x3F4C (16,204). As stated in the referenced post, we typically suggest that you use a repeating read of this register to troubleshoot your code and interface.
