Hello,
I'm looking for a more cost effective version of the ADXL354. I don't need the 20 bit resolution. The adxl312 is more appropriate for my application, but the DS doesn't indicate it's hermetically sealed. Is there a more cost-effective accerlerometer with AEC, > 1kHz bandwidth, range 3-16g, and digital (I2C / SPI) interface?
Hello jslice I am afraid that ADXL312 is not sealed. The cost-effective alternatives in the ADXL35x family are ADXL358 and ADXL359 but they also come on a non-hermetic plastic package.
You can check the ADXL100x family but they are analog output and suited for wider BW.
The ceramic package and making the part hermetically sealed is one of the reasons that make these products more expensive to produce rather than the ASIC itself.
