Is it possible to enable the low-pass antialiasing filter of the ADXL372 without enabling the low-pass activity filter?

Thread Summary

The user inquired about configuring the ADXL372 to capture shock windows into the FIFO at 3200Hz ODR with a 200Hz antialiasing filter, while disabling the 10Hz low-pass activity filter. The support engineer confirmed that the LPF_DISABLE bit in the POWER_CTL register (0x3F) should only disable the activity LPF, not the antialiasing LPF, allowing the desired configuration. The engineer also recommended referring to AN-1266 for shock event monitoring.

I need to capture shock windows into the sensor's FIFO triggered by a fast shock over a high g-threshold.

FIFO is set to triggered mode.

The ODR is 3200Hz and I would like to configure the low-pass antialiasing filter to 200Hz.

It seems that when the sensor's low-pass activity filter (10Hz) is enabled, the antialiasing filter is also enabled.
When the activity filter is disabled, the antialiasing filter is also disabled.

The datasheet recommends turning the activity filter off for high g-events.

Is it possible to only have the antialiasing filter (200Hz) enabled without the activity filter?

Best regards,

VN
