I'm wondering why the pin 1 marker is only the bottom of the sensor instead of on both the bottom and top? I had some prototype boards assembled, and the adxl367 was not working. I suspected an orientation issue, but the only way I could truly confirm it was by heat gunning the adxl367 off a board. Since I don't have a reflow station, I had to trash a board to verify that the pin 1 was rotated 180 degrees from where it should be. Also I did several days of writing software tests.
I don't know if you all agree, but I wish AD would laser etch the pin 1 marker on the top and the bottom. It would be helpful to have the top marker as well. The top marker if etched would probably have survived on several of the prototypes, and I would have been able to confirm the issue right away.
