About the current consumption.

Thank you for posting this. Based on my understanding yes, it should be the whole sensor consumption that comes from adding both pins.

Can I ask more info about your application in order to understand if any other newer part could fit better your application?

I am a DFAE based in Japan and have shared your response with our customer.

The customer I mentioned is considering the ADXL343 for an IoT application,
and I am currently gathering the further details of their project.
Additionally, they have used the ADXL343 in previous products.

I may have questions regarding this project in the future,

Let me know whenever you have news, on a first sight I would bet that ADXL366 (Rev.0) is a better newer option.
