ADXL357BEZ sensor failure modes.

Question

Hi. This is Lokesh. We are using this ADXL357BEZ in our latest design. 
 I just want to know, is there any failure modes defined for this sensor. 
 If ADXL357BEZ got damaged partially or completely or if it is not working as it is supposed to work, how could I identify it ? 
 Please give me a checklist that I can crosscheck to ensure the health of ADXL357BEZ is completely fine from both hardware & software perspective.

Hello Lokii An easy way to check if the part is working properly is using the self-test mode, you can find specific information about it in the page 31 of the ADXL357 DS . 
 If you want more specific info about which actions could harm the MEMS sensor itself you can check the page 71 of the following resource: UG-311 (Rev.
