Best choice of 24bit ADC converter for ADXL354

Category: Hardware
Product Number: ADXL354

Hi,

I should design a three-assembly accelerometer sensor + temperature using the ADXL354 sensor and a 24Bit Multisampling ADC converter. I would have identified the p/n AD7779.

I would like a suggestion on how to connect the 4 single-ended outputs of the ADXL354 on the 4 differential inputs of the ADC.
If I understood correctly I should:

  1. Connect the 1V8ANA output of ADXL354 to the +VREF input of AD7779. Connect -VREF to GND.
  2. Connect the four outputs to the corresponding four inputs AINP0, AINP1, AINP2 and AINP3. Connect AINN0, AINN1, AINN2 and AINN3 to GND.
  3. Power AVVD with 3V3, Power AVSS with -200mV to not lose reading dynamics from the sensor when its output is 0V.

Also I will not have all 24bit available but only 23 as the input is differential, correct?

Is there a more suitable 24bit adc converter for this application?

In your opinion using ADXL354 + AD7779 will give better results than using ADXL355 with integrated 20bit converter?
