ADXL356 idle output voltage low

Category: Hardware
Product Number: EVAL-ADXL356, ADXL356

HI,

I'm using an EVAL-ADXL356 to examine the feasability of this sensor in a process monitoring scenario. The board is installed into a watertight metallic housing but with appropiate insulation measures so that short circuits couldn't happen. After initial good results for a period of ca. 5 hours I'm now seeing the issue that all 3-axis are outputing way too low readings in the 0G scenario. I'm only receiving around 910 mV on all three of them, however sensing seems to still work fine. This has been checked using 3 different measuring devices. Supply Volatage is 3,3V provided via a USB outlet. V1P8ANA is reading around 1,8V. The low output volatge has been measured at the cable I attached to the board, directly at the solder pad as well as on the capacitors C1-C3.

What can be a cause for this behaviour, whta can I do to mitigate this?

Thank you very much in advance!
